Since it’s an “off-week” for PlusHeart, I figure I’d create a thread for some open discussion. I figure it’s also nice to have a place where anyone can comment.
The most basic of basic merchandise for an esports team or streamer is a t-shirt. It can have a logo on it, or approach something a little more creative fashion-wise.
What’s something that makes a “good” t-shirt to you? Does the make or model of the base shirt matter, or is it about the “spirit” of the design? Is there anything “weird” you’d say you consider when making that purchase?
I'm personally a fan of the "subtle" branded clothing. I don't buy much new clothing, so while sometimes I like to shout my fandoms from the rooftop, it makes more sense for me to invest in clothing that has the dual-purpose of being comfortable and appropriate for any scenario, while still showing some personality. For those who aren't familiar with the brand, I pass as an average human being. For those "in the know," recognition and connection over mutual interests is a lovely moment shared. I'd like to see esports brands focus less on the traditional sports jersey or loud, logo-heavy designs in favour of some more options that are high-quality, durable, and that has the potential to become that comfort shirt for any occasion.
